Recipe Book (“Rasoi”) is an Android cooking app. It offers regional recipes from India and around the world, with clear vegetarian / non-vegetarian labels, a step-by-step cook mode, and a smart shopping list.
In short: Recipe Book has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. It does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, files, or location. Your saved recipes, taste profile and shopping list never leave your phone. The only information that leaves your device is the anonymous advertising and analytics data described below, collected by Google — not by the developer — plus the requests your phone makes to load recipe photos.
The developer does not collect, receive, store, or have access to any personally identifiable information (PII) from you. Recipe Book has no account system, no registration, and no server operated by the developer. There is nowhere for your personal data to be sent.

The Google advertising and analytics libraries the app includes add the following technical permissions of their own. They are listed here because they appear on the app's Google Play listing, and you are entitled to know what each is for:
Recipe Book does not request access to your storage, photos, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, or location — none of those permissions exist in the app at all. The full recipe catalogue is built into the app, so core browsing and cooking work offline (recipe photos and ads require a connection).
Recipe Book displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, according to your preferences and Google's ad settings.
Ads appear only within the browse screens (a single banner that scrolls with the content, and an occasional full-screen ad after you leave cook mode), plus optional rewarded videos you may choose to watch to unlock a chef-special recipe. Watching a rewarded ad is always your choice — declining one never prevents you from cooking. There are no ads on the recipe, cook-mode, or shopping-list screens.

Recipe Book stores data locally on your device only. Specifically:
None of this is transmitted anywhere. It is not backed up to a developer server, because no such server exists. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of it, which is also the only way to erase it — there is no account to delete and nothing held elsewhere on your behalf.

No other third-party service is used, and no data is sold or shared with anyone else.
Recipe Book is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at pavanupwork2021@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action. This app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
All data the app stores stays in your device's private app storage, which Android isolates from other apps. All network connections made by the app — to Google's advertising, analytics, and configuration services and to Wikimedia's image servers — use encrypted HTTPS.
Because the developer never receives your personal data, there is no developer-held database that could be breached or leaked.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
